No date, but LOC Card No. 58-8233, so 1950s. Book is actually two sections - Part I by Dr. E.S. Montgomery - who owned, bred and showe…d Irish Terriers - consists of 112 pages about the Irish Terrier, history in the UK and America, breed characteristics, showing and breeding as well as condition the Irish Terrier for the Show Ring. Part II by Mile G. Denlinger and revised by A.C. Merrick DVM is 130 pages and has chapters on training, feeding, breeding, veterinary issues and housing. Although this section is titled The Complete Irish Terrier, the information applies to just about any breed. Many b/w photos throughout of prominent dogs of the breed.
