André Minaux (1923-1986) est un peintre français, graveur, illustrateur, sculpteur, des…sinateur. Ancien élève de l'Ecole des arts décoratifs, il reçoit l'enseignement de Maurice Brianchon et Roland Oudot. Il appartient à l'illustre Ecole de Paris, au mouvement de la Jeune Peinture dans les années 50 puis au groupe des Peintres Témoins de leur temps. expose. Cette plaquette porte notamment sur "La Noce" présentée en 1960 à la Maison de la pensée française, rue de l'Élysée à Paris. C'est une toile de cinq mètres sur trois, aux personnages nombreux et aux scènes multiples, et qui repose essentiellement sur la densité des couleurs. Toile figurative, certains critiques la désignent comme "une fête de la couleur" et la comparent à "Un enterrement à Ornans" de Gustave Courbet.
