In original paper. Condition: Fine condition. First Hungarian edition. Typed. Published in a few copy. In original paper. 97 p. Probably the first translation of Kundera's The Owners of the Keys. The translation was prepared for the first foreign theather presentation of Owners of the Keys. In Hungary, the Miskolc National Theater first performed the The Owners of the Keys in 1963, and two years later, the Vígszínház Theater also staged it. In Miskolc, after four performances, it was taken off the bill, and the Vígszínház Theater's venture can also be considered a failure. On both occasions, the moral problem, which seriously undermined the basic idea of the play, and the Hungarian audience saw it as a "resistance drama." But the main reason for the failure was that in the 1960s, Hungarian theater and the Hungarian audience did not yet know what to make of Kundera's unusual dramaturgy. First Hungarian edition. Typed. Published in a few copy.
