Hardcover. Engraved frontis. (illustrator). 2nd edition. VG book. Worn extrems. Red leather spine label with gilt title. Clean text; minor aging, foxing, lightly pencilled marginalia. With the bookplate of B(aron( D(arion) with initials BD, above a crown(of sorts), below "NIVILLER". Darion was a name used by the Reinach family, owners of castle Niviller, in Beauvais which is about 60km NW of Paris. Inside cover a neatly inked note, in French, by C Lagache, of Niviller, dated l'aout 83. Book first printed in same year, 1803, as (tp states) this corrected & augmented 2nd edition. 16.5X10.5X2(cm). 252pp. VG book. IN FRENCH. Rough translation: "Springtime of an Outlaw".
