Vintage black-and-white still photograph from the 1971 UK release of the 1971 US film. Layout annotations on the verso. Based on Davis Grubb's 1969 novel, about a trio of ex-convicts released from prison, hoping to open a general store. Their attempt is met with great resistance from a corrupt prison official and the banker who issued the startup funds. Shot on location in West Virginia. 8 x 10 inches. Slight faint pin-sized indentations, else Near Fine.
