The book and the unclipped dust jacket are both in near fine condition with light surface scuffs on the jacket and the lightest corner tip bump at the upper front corner. The folkloric story of why the weeping willow tree weeps is told in a most dramatic and marvelous fashion, with photographs of hands encased in colored gloves, and used as animated puppets, and incorporating, elaborating on the backround shadows. I have to say, I just love this book. Signed and inscribed by Marshall Izen on the half title page. Unpaginated. Pages at the end show children telling the story with their own hands.
