There is no marked publication date but the preface is dated 1949. Storage conditions have been unkind: the dustjacket, cover and fir…st and last pages have damp damage. This damage, however, does not interfere with the text or the illustrations. The dustjacket has much wear, tear and marking to all edges, corners and the head and foot of the spine. Aside from the damage mentioned above the cover has wear to the spine head and foot and the corners. The contents are stoic and clear, firmly affixed and gentle. fk.
