More about Khyberie, the hill pony, born in the high mountains of Afghanistan and as sure-footed as a goat. Captain Malcolm, his owner, was ordered to Burma and on account of the distance and the difficulties of the journey, decided he could not take the pony with him, despite the entreaties of his daughter Alice. Written in the first 'Pony' person, it is the author's second book about Khyberie.
