Baker Company at The Play Shop, Boston, Massachusetts. Issued in paperback format, the book is illustrated with four monochrome illustrations, including a frontispiece after Joshua Reynolds, which are printed on calendered paper. The plays, each of which deals with persons who are quite well-known to history. The plays are listed at the foot of the front cover. Rear cover is blank. CONDITION -- GOOD ONLY -- This is a previously owned book that remains clean and serviceable, with the following particulars noted: EXTERIOR -- A damp stain displays on the bottom half of the spine, extending irregularly onto the covers no more than half an inch at greatest extent - as delineated by a tide line (Hence the condition grade) - this is there but seems not so egregious as describing it makes it seem (or I am fashioning the proverbial silk purse?). Else the covers Which have a slight yawn) are clean. There are a few nicks and dents to cover edges, and the spine extremities are compressed and nicked. Text-block edges are clean. BINDING -- Tight INTERIOR -- Clean and unmarked throughout. Top leaf corner tips are slightly bumped - the resulting creases are quite shallow - or near negligible. No writing. No marginalia. No signatures.
