It also covers methods for commanding spirits, overcoming rebellious entities, and developing abilities such as clairvoyance, divination, warding off evil magic, healing, levitation, invisibility, illusion creation, mind reading, and more. This text represents a genuine medieval course in magic and is one of the most significant works in the history of occultism. It is invaluable for both historians and practitioners. About the Author: S. L. MacGregor Mathers, a 19th-century magician and head of the Order of the Golden Dawn, translated and edited this volume from manuscripts in the British Museum.
