It is dated in 1939 and inscribed "To Maestro Levy: Just a small token of appreciation. --- _______" on the reverse of the title page. All other pages are spotless, unmarked and undamaged. "Max Levy" appears in gilt lettering in the lower right corner of the front cover and "Verdi" and "Rigoletto" appear in gilt on the spine but are a bit faded. There is some mottling to the purple outer page edges and a few very faint smudges on the covers. The book will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
