First Edition stated. Wrap-around dustjacket art. Canadian set novel. "A tiny village near the Maine border, chock full of most amusing rustic characters, with all the bucolic ambitions and pretensions, the neighborly feuds and the love making, the foibles and weaknesses of the simple life". Near Fine, contemporary inscription at front endpaper, in Very Good dustjacket, chipped at spine ends and flap corners.
