The first edition of this very scarce work.In the original grey cloth boards, with a decorative stamp to the rear board.'Decorations and Absurdities' comprises a series of humorous depictions and satires of an array of figures, such as Harry Tate, Augustus John and Edmund Blunden.Profusely illustrated throughout with full-page black and white caricatures by Bohun Lynch, a writer and artist who also holds authorship for science-fiction novels, such as 'Menace from the Moon' (1925) and 'A Muster of Ghosts' (1924).With additional poems and prose from Reginald Berkeley, a writer of stage plays and Hollywood screenwriter. In the original grey cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing and bumping, concentrated to the spine head and tail. Light marks to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with offsetting to the front free endpaper only. Very Good. book.
