Esta amplia labor científica abarca desde el programa de una protosociología como fundamento fenome…nológico de las ciencias sociales, pasando por una teoría de la acción humana y una teoría de las transcendencias como fundamento de la sociología de la religión, hasta el desarrollo de una teoría del lenguaje y la comunicación genuinamente sociológica, con el consiguiente estudio de la estructura de los actos comunicativos en las investigaciones empíricas sobre los géneros orales.El orden de los textos sigue la lógica de la constitución elaborada por el propio Luckmann, empezando por las estructuras invariables y acabando en las instituciones complejas de la acción humana, en su concreción social, cultural e histórica. Así, de la conciencia individual, que constituye el sentido en el mundo de la vida, se pasa a los procesos de intercambio en las instituciones sociales menores y a la formación de sentido social objetivado. En tercer lugar, se estudia la religión, aquella construcción social mayor que permite una última legitimación de sentido. Finalmente, la lógica constitutiva desemboca en el análisis de la comunicación, en el que el autor vio una reorientación de su sociología del conocimiento. LIBRO.
