(Additional printings not indicated.) Tissue-guarded frontispiece, illustrated chapter headings, 337pp, 12mo (circa5" wide x 7 1/4" tall), red & gilt letters plus black floral embellishment on the spine and front cover, red cloth (hardcover). Deaccessioned (SundaySchool) with book plate. No other accession marks. Internal front endpaper hinge cracked; scattered fox (brown spots) mostly confined toendpapers. Unmarked, clean and tightly bound. Very good. Scarce.
