    Hardcover. White cloth with gold Cyrillic lettering on spine; color-illustrated dj with Cyrillic lettering on spine; 161 color/bw plates. Catalogue of 161 works from the collection of the National Museum, Warsaw. Text in Russian. Divided into three sections: Gallery of the Ancient World, Gallery of the Middle Ages and Gallery of Polish Art. Each plate is thoroughly described, and a catalogue of the works follows at the end. A very thorough presentation and review, especially of Polish art up to the early 1970s. Very clean pages, tight binding, but museum ex-lib. book plate inside front cover and discoloration to end papers; dj sunned and with small tears at corners.
