The end-matter begins on page 250 with a three-page "Chronicle," in Chinese, with Western dates, followed by three pages of "Cross-Reference," in Chinese and English, and is completed with a six- page "Bibliography" in English. This is a work devoted to Formosa (Taiwan) and presumed to be focused on its interaction with outsiders, mostly European. The volume's chronology begins at the year 230 and runs through 1895.
