Softcover. Condition: Good+. First Edition. Text block detached from covers. Staining and rubbing to margins of covers. Some clippings loosely included.; 55, [1 (blank)] pages + 26 lithograph plates (mostly colour) on 13 plate leaves. 3 wood engraved plates within the pagination. Red cloth covers with black decoration and lettering on front cover. Page dimensions: 248 x 183mm. Cover title: "Tarawera. Volcanic Eruption with a Description of the Lake District Before and After.
