First edition hard back binding in publisher's original terracotta cloth covered boards, blocked and lettered in black. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. Contains 112 pp + ii pp. Frequent underlining by a previous careful reader who gave up on page 34, feint ink name to the front free end paper 'Rolland J. B. Munro, 23 September 1925'. Member of the P.B.F.A. IRAN [Persia].

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Cloth hardcover with beautiful printed design to the covers and gilt spine lettering. This appears to be a privately rebound copy with professionally reinforced hinges - a very well done binding. No statement of year or edition. Lower corners bumped. Text is unmarked but for a penciled "Vol. I only" to the front free endpaper, and a red block stamp to the title page with Asian symbols and hand written numbers. Some very minor darkened spots scattered through the text. Overall a very attractive copy of this scarce text. 410 pp., indexed.
