    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. A three volume set bound in quarter leather on marbled boards with raised bands and gold stamping to the spine with gold leaf to the top edge. All three have an illustrated frontis. In Good to Very Good condition. Wear to the corner tips and tops and bottoms of the spine. Volume 3 has rubbing to the front marbled board. Internally, the pages are clean and bright with no writing or markings, though each volume has a previous owner's bookplate. The hinges are very secure with no cracking or breaks, though there is a small bit of very light toning to the first and last free pages of each volume. Volume I has a split to the top of the spine on the outside. Does not affect the interior. Volume III has a small number of pages near the rear that have become dogeared at about 1/4 of an inch. The volumes measure a bit over 5 1/2 inches wide by almost 7 5/8 inches tall and about 1 inch thick.
