Vintage script for the 1965 Broadway play. Annotations in manuscript ink on the title page and cast page, identifying actors. Culture shock ensues when a Chicago advertising executive flies to New York to meet his pregnant daughter and her new husband, who are living a free-spirited, bohemian life in Greenwich Village. The play made its Broadway premiere at the Morosco Theatre on September 29, 1965, running for a successful 300 performances before closing on June 25, 1966. Nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor for A. Larry Haines. Orange titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers with credit for playwright William Goodhart. Title page present, dated August 9, 1965, with credit for Goodhart, noted as copy No. 26 in manuscript ink. 111 leaves, with last page of text numbered 3-36. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good, bound with two gold screw brads.
