Hard Cover. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. Book is in excellent condition, with light scuffing to HB covers only. Comic book compilation of 1950's productions reprinted in their entirety; pictorial boards, decorated endpapers. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no notable blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Part of the Pre-code Classics series. Volume One covering issues 1 - 6 of Weird Mysteries comic magazine, October 1952 - August / September 1953. Foreword by James Heath Lantz with the work of Basil Wolverton, Frank Follo and Charles Stern, et al. Comics are complete with front and back covers, essays, ads for learning to dance, building muscles, wrestling 3 part power systems, training for jobs in radio and television, etc. 240 pages.
