Arthur B. Langlie (1900-1966) was an American politician who served as the Mayor of Seattle and the 12th and 14th Governor of Washington. In this brief letter, Langlie responds to correspondence by E. T. Becher, Chairman of the Advisory Committee in Spokane. The letter reads, "Dear Mr. Becher: Thank you for your letters of September 22d, enclosing material relative to the plans of the Advisory Board on Historic Sites to the State Parks and Recreation Commission.
