The front board is embosssed with one of the cake border, which is illustrated inside. The 20 Colour plates are intact but it is missing its loosley inserted folded cake decorating template. The main book is in near find condition with barely an shelf wear and appears to have rarely, if ever, been used. The supplement meanwhile is in very good condition with some spotting on the red cloth and gilt cover. Both books are filled with recipes and black and white photos of the cakes and pastries. Together, the two books are a comprehensive look at cakes and pastries from 1937.
