1/2 leather. First edition. 3 volume set. Green leather spine coverings and corners over marbled boards. Volume I: The Countess of Nithsdale; Volume II: Winifred, Countess of Nithsdale (continued) and The Hampshire Cottage; Volume III: Blanche. All volumes have gilt titles on Morocco labels. Gilt decoration and spacing is different on volume three, also the board have faded more. Volume III bears the bookplate of George Thomas Mowbray, who was apparently the High Sheriff of Leicester in 1879. Ex-library with pockets on the rear inside cover, and stickers on the back cover. Very good. No dust jacket. Ex-library.
