This diplomat from a distinguished family of jurists and diplomats served as the French Ambassador to the U.S. from 1933 to 1937. Bold and handsome "With Warm regards" and signature in black ink on a 6" X 7" sheet with "Ambassade de France / Washington, D.C." imprinted in blue at top. Very good. Faint single horizontal fold. A lovely example from mid-1930s vintage.
