This expo was co-sponsored by International Defense Review, Countermeasures, Wehrtechnik, and Electro-Optical Systems Design. Military Electronics Defence Exposition (MEDE) '77 was held at Rhein-Halle in Weisbaden, Germany on 27-29 September 1977. In all 90 papers were presented, representing 11 countries. On balance, countries on each side of the Atlantic contributed approximately 50 percent of the papers presented. The defense electronics topics addressed included: Reconnaissance, Computer Technology, Communications, Countermeasures, Electro-Optics, Test Instrumentation, Radar, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Solid-State Technology, Guided Missile Electronics, Command and Control Communications, Software Technology, Microwave Technology, and Simulation Systems.
