1st edition. Pamphlet without covers. 8ins x 5ins, 23pp, (i). A criticism of British defence strategy of a possible war with France drawing on the disposition of British troops in India and the superioity of more recently built French ships. Previous owners name and date to top of title page. Red British Museum discard stamp to verso of title page and final (blank) page. Unusual scarce item.
