Biography of Bill Hackett, his climbs and his WWII fighting with the 10th Mtn Division. He was member of Washburn's first ascent of the West Buttress of Mt McKinley. In 1960 he led an expedition that attempted K2 via Abruzzi Ridge. He made several first ascents in Alaska/Yukon including first ascent of the N Peak of Mt Logan. Signed by Author(s).
