This volume consists of 18 pages of text and 226 pages of full-sized black & white plates of Romanesque architecture in France and a 7 page index of the photography. Circa 1912, based on titles listed in catalog at rear, original printing 1910. Old bookseller label and small previous owner label inside front cover, and different name written on upper half-title. Else a very clean, square, and unmarked copy. Cloth cover protected by well crafted home-made acetate covers. Text in German. Near fine. A large heavy book, Priority and International orders will require additional postage. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.

Clean red boards, gilt titles to front & spine, Fairly light wear to top spine-ends & top boards' corners. Some wear with small frays to bottom corners, wear to bottom spine-end with small 1cm horizontal snag to cloth. Light darkening to rear hinge and part of rear board adjacent due to damp contact. Paper crack to inner rear hinge at last page as a result- causing very slight wobble, but fairly superficial. A few very light marks to boards. Very slight foxing to cream-coloured end-papers. Crayon signature to flyleaf. Binding shows slight signs of being pulled due to heavy nature of paper used for plates. Contents very clean.
