Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Black cloth with gilt sp. lettering, no obvious faults. 210 pp. 1960-dated ownership name to fr. end-paper, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked though tiny hints of edge-tanning to final leaves and ttop of text-block has trace of dustiness. Unclipped jacket generally clean but tanning to sp. and edges and sp. ends a little rubbed, will add protective sleeve when ordered. 1st issued 1944 with 2nd imp. 1946. 13 cm x 19.5 cm.

Condition: Very Good. First American Edition. VG : in very good condition with unclipped dust jacket. Jacket rubbed and edge chipped in two separate pieces with the spine missing. Spine tail slightly rubbed and faded. Light edge wear. 240mm x 160mm (9" x 6"). 234pp. Quarter black cloth over green board cover.
