She received an AB from Vassar College, an MFA from Brown University, and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the author of Endou and Tomie's Chair and for the past ten years has worked on the Navajo Nation. LEAH STEIN is the founder of Leah Stein Dance Company whose site-specific dances have been performed internationally and throughout the United States, in train garages, open fields, corner parking lots, vacant city lots, historic sites, gardens and burial grounds. She teaches at Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore Colleges. Book.
