Separated at all four folds, loss to top of jacket and spine, corners rubbed with loss, jacket worn and time stained. Not price clipped (5/-), previous owner's inscriptions to ffep, internally clean and tight, overall a bit of a mess but a good reading copy. 255pp. Out of the corner of his eyes Biggles saw Dick go overboard and disappear under the foam, but he could do nothing to help him.
