Condition: Good. 1860. No edition remarks. 768 pages. Half bound brown leather with brown cloth covered boards and gilt lettering to spine. Ex libris plate at front. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to hinges and gutters. Binding slightly loose. Pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy wear with bumped and abraded corners. Spine ends similarly worn and spine itself strongly scuffed. Gilt dulled. Board surfaces scratched and rubbed.

Tightly bound in brown blind-stamped cloth with gilt lettering and design to front and spine; wear to edges and corners. Page fore-edges browned and untrimmed, but neat. Internally, pages yellowed with scattered foxing to some pages; owners' names on second front free endpaper; on two blank rear endpapers, small news cutting have been adhered and a short note has been written; Otherwise, a good, tidy copy.
