A very good two volume set in full leather prize bindings for The Rugby School. 8vo. 7.0" x 4.5" x 1.2". Tan calf with gilt school crest; "Rugby School" to front board. Each spine withfive raised bands, gilt decorated compartments, and contrasting red and black title and volume numbers. All surfaces lightly rubbed and bumped. Marbled page edges and matching endpapers. Armorial bookplate to the verso of each front board: "Sir Benjamin Stone, The Grange, Erdington". Engraved portrait frontis to each volume.
