The two curators Gianni Jetzer (New York) and Chris Sharp (Mexico City) have conceived an exhibition that places particular emphasis on the human body in physical and social action. The book accompanying the exhibition presents unique documentary materials to introduce readers to legendary historic performance pieces since 1963 and surveys contemporary positions. The roster of fifty-nine contributing artists reads like a who is who of performance art today.; Der Titel der 12. Schweizerischen Plastikausstellung lautet Le Mouvement.
