Silk. Condition: Very Good. Second Edition. Second edition, revised, stated. Olive silk binding with black ruling in blind, gilt titles to spine. 172 pp., 8 pp. advertising for Pitt Press Series. A very useful edition that includes notes to the first and second edition, introduction, metrical analysis, dramatis personae, structure of the play, text, notes A and B, and indices (significant words in Greek, their English translation, and where they appear, and significant words in English, their Greek translation, and where they appear). Previous owner signature to front endpaper (can make out "Henry Crocker", but not the surname) with notes through in pencil and a few in ink. Somebody studied this work very carefully. Additional notes to front and rear endpapers. Very good book structurally, with mild skew to boards. Notwithstanding the notes, which one can see as a plus or a minus, very good.
