Eighteen books consisting of ten volumes and the Supplement (which was published in 1933). The books are bound (or perhaps rebound) in uniform beige cloth by J. S. H. Bates & Co., Leicester. The first volume includes a descriptive pamphlet outlining past and (at the time) future volumes. Although the publication dates on the individual volumes range from 1888 to 1933, the books mainly appear to date from the 1915-1916 era, as indicated by the pamphlet. Outside of smudging/scuffing to the boards and small bookplates on some of the front endpapers, the condition of these volumes is very good. There is no foxing or markings to the pages, and the bindings are solid and straight. The books will be shipped securely in multiple parcels. Please inquire for international orders.
