Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl record album, Poor Boy PB 1006, near-mint vinyl in a very-good-plus glossy jacket which is signed to verso in blue ballpoint pen "To Andus" by Sam Butera and basically by the entire band -- Billy Bower sax; Buck Monari trumpet; Chuck Stevens drums; Jim James trombone; Arnie Teich piano, as well as by Jon Hypes, role here unknown. While all signatures are legible, ballpoint wasn't really the best medium for this glossy surface -- a black "Magic Marker" would have stood out better. Also, while jacket bears several photos of Louis Prima WITH his old band-leader Sam Butera, note this is a posthumous "tribute" album from 1987 -- while singer/songwriter Prima legged it out of this vale of tears in 1978. Includes Arlen & Mercer's "That Old Black Magic," Cole Porter's "Ive Got You Under My Skin," "Josephine, Please No Lean On the Bell," Prima's "Please No Squeeza Da Banana," "I'm Just a Gigalo" (sp?), "Angelina," "Oh Marie," "Felicia, No Capicia," etc. Reduced from $22.
