Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. This is an unread copy of Ready Aye Ready, An Illustrated History of the Royal Canadian Navy, which was written in 1989 by Lt-Cdr Jack MacBeth. It was a best-seller; this copy is from its 6th printing, in 1993. It is a lovely book, heavily illustrated with photographs, paintings and propaganda art. It begins with the RCN's creation in 1914, follows it through the Battle of the Atlantic and the Invasion of Europe and goes up to the 80s. 176 pages but heavy. Unclipped dust jacket. It has not been read, or even opened. It creaks when you open it. There's a small scuff to the dust jacket, just at the edge, and some of that scuff continues to the cover of the book itself. It is otherwise pristine.
