Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. "Including That Part of the County Now in the Diocese of Gloucester and Bristol. From Returns Made By J.E. Nightingale and E.H. Goddard". Features 360 Pieces of the Church Plate from Wiltshire Parishes. 4to size. First edition and printing. In good brown cloth boards, with black ruled edges to front and back; gilt titles to back strip. The covers are a little wobbly due to cracked hinge; quite clean; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed. Bright green end papers; a little marked; attractive book plate to front paste down. Tanned and marked cut edges. The text block is firm and quite clean, with some light tanning; foxing to prelims and end pages. A dedication card is attached to the title page. With 33 b/w illustrations and 22 plates. Not annotated. Good condition.
