Hardcover. Condition: Good. Very unusual book, only one other for sale on the Internet. Eight two-sided panels, one side with color illustrations and the other side text. I've provided photographs. With the five photo limit, I left out one of the photos of the text. If you'd like more photos, I've taken them and can send them to you. I don't see a date of publication, but it's an old book, I'm guessing late 19th century or early 20th century. That being the case, it's in pretty nice condition. There is only a little bit of occasional soiling. A few corners have superficial loss. There is an occasional crease. Again, write if you want some closer-up photos. I had to open and close up all the panels several times and was pleased and relieved that none of them detached. They do need to be handled with a good deal of care. There are a few places where the binding between the panels feels a little insecure. That pretty much covers it. I've listed the binding as 'hardcover' because you have to choose a binding and I suppose it's as much a hardcover as a softcover. These are some of the places, cities, etc., that are referenced on the color illustrations: Garden of the Tuileries, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, St. Peters, Rome, Hotel de Ville, Cologne Cathedral, Bridge of Boats, St. Mark's, Venice, Arctic regions, Mont Blanc, Switzerland, India, Egypt, Gibraltar, Suez Canal, Mount Vesuvius, Windsor Castle, London Bridge, Crossing the Atlantic.
