First edition. Limited edition. Signed by the author and Howard Waldrop. Publisher's original black cloth with yellow titles to the spine, in the Max Ernst illustrated dustwrapper. Housed in the black cloth slipcase with yellow titles to the backstrip. Black satin bookmark. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fr…esh. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright original dustwrapper, which is without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£60/$90 to the lower rear panel). Housed in the near fine, structurally sound slipcase, which has a small white paint mark to the backstrip, and a little marking to the top edge. Issued in an edition of 200 copies, from which this example is numbered 78, and signed by the author Steven Utley and the author of the introduction Howard Waldrop in black ink on the limitation page. A collection of Utley's short science fiction stories, named after his 1991 novelette which is published here in book form for the first time.
