Condition is a conservative VG+: exceptionally clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with mild tanning, a bit heavier to edges, but completely unmarked save for 2 small stamps of former owner in front matter. Mild-modest rubbing to extremities, heavier at corners & spine tips, with slight loss to heel of spine. All tissue guards intact, though the one protecting the frontispiece is chipped at inner bottom. A stunning copy!
