Believed to date from the second decade of the 14th century and acquired by Queen Mary I in 1553, this lavishly illustrated psalter is believed to be the work of a single artist working in London and now known only as "the Queen Mary Master." The entire work is reproduced here in (monochrome) photolithographic facsimile. Scuffing and some fading to covers, still sturdy and presentable and internally fine.
