Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Illustrated by Piper, John (illustrator). First Edition. Some staining to margins of endpapers. Some staining and marks to leather at margins of pastedowns. Bookseller's rubber stamp on front endpaper. The dust-jacket has heavy foxing and is split into two pieces along the spine. Chips to dust-jacket spine. Dust-jacket held together in a mylar cover. Slipcase with moderate rubbing and wear. 20mm split at tail of the slipcase.; Number 73 of 100 specially bound copies, signed by Osbeth Sitwell and John Piper. xvi, 113, [2] pages + lithographic frontispiece + 5 lithographic plates (3 double page). Full green morocco binding with two raised bands on spine. Gilt illustration on front board. Page dimensions: 223 x 143mm. Top page edges gilt. Some leaves unopened.
