Hardcover. First Edition Thus, Second Printing. Near Fine, with a Very Good glassine dust jacket. Some minor scuffing and toning to dust jacket. Interior is clean and unmarked, illustrated. Folio, 16"h x 11 3/4"w. A lovely reproduction of the masterpiece originally published in 1877.

Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, NY, 1877, 1981, 2nd printing of this facsimile, unpaginated but approx. 26 pages printed on one side only, introduction by Kevin Starr, historical note by Leon D. Adams, color illustrations by Hannah Millard, pale pink and raspberry imitation marbled endpapers, 11-1/2"x 16", hardcover, dark red cloth with paper title plate on front cover, just a bit of fading along bottom edge, pale dusty looking spots along top and bottom edges, bottom spine end slightly bumped and frayed, clear plastic wrap dust jacket scuffed with a short tear & a small piece missing at bottom of spine, contents clean and tight, a very nice looking book with beautiful illustrations, book good+ (G+/G) 828 [Hsss48JP].
