Small quarto, 10 1/4" tall, vol. 1 : xxv + 340 pages (680 columns compiled in 340 pages), --with approximately 360 additional blank pages inter-leafed; vol. 2: 340 pages (760 columns compiled in 380 pages)--with approximately 380 additional blank pages inter-leafed; gilt spine titles on red cloth. A very good, clean, neat and sturdy hard cover over all, with minor wear and rubbing to the cover, hinges and binding tight, paper lightly yellowed, with slight soiling to the exterior fore-edges. Volume two has been annotated with addition entries by hand on many of the blank pages and beginning with the year 1899, many printed entries have been 'boxed' in red pencil and additional information penciled in--all apparent corrections to the text.…
