Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Shepard, Ernest H (illustrator). 88pp, 8 colour plates (including frontispiece), black and white illustrations throughout. Pictorial paper-covered boards; titles on front and spine. Small folio. Sun-faded spine with wear and soiling to covers. Loss to spine ends and cloth torn at joints. Corners and edges bumped and rubbed, paper worn through in places. Text block edges tanned, free endpapers foxed. Frontispiece mostly detached. Internally very light foxing, mainly to verso of colour plates otherwise pages are clean, neat, bright and tight. With an Introduction by A Milne, this delightful book contains captioned drawings from Punch and illustrated colour plates with verses by E V Knox.
