The book is in really good condition, normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. Comes with a bright sky blue box slipcase.… 297 pages all intact, nice tight binding. All pages, text and gorgeous illustrations are in fabulous good, clean, readable order. The "Book of Margery Kempe" was first published by Penquin Books in 1985. The Folio Edition follows the text of the first edition with minor emendations. Typeset at The Folio Society in Dante. Printed on Elementa Wove Paper by Memminger MedienCentrum AG, Memmingen, Germany. Bound by Real-Lachenmaier, Reutlingen, Germany, in full cloth printed and blocked with a design by the artist. (Having said what is printed in the book, it is noticeable that this 2004 edition is paper backed not cloth as stated.) Another wonderful book from The Folio Society.
